The Cable Car Congress is the two-day congress format of Cable Car World. In four sections current topics related to the topic of urban cable cars are dealt with. The congress is an integral part of Cable Car World and tailored to it, so that all participants can take advantage of both offers on the event days. In this way, every visitor can optimally adapt their stay to their individual needs.

The 2024 congress programme comprises four thematic parts that build on each other in terms of content, but also stand on their own. Starting with a look at the connection between urban development and cable cars, Parts II and III will deal with the factors relevant to implementation. This includes questions on financing, funding conditions and the planning process. Finally, operation is examined, as are international examples of best practice.
