At CCW24, with its specialist congress and presentation areas for exhibitors, the City Lab is aimed in particular for local authorities.

Nine Municipalities will showcase their current and planned cable car projects in the City Lab and you can enter into direct dialogue with experts from various disciplines. This gives you the opportunity to reflect on and further develop your own ideas and plans in a professional setting and to establish contact with potential partners for further process phases.
The German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV), which published the action guide "Urban cable cars in local public transport" in 2022, will also be present at the event. It offers municipalities, transport companies and transport associations concrete assistance and transferable planning principles - from the project idea to planning, construction and operation. The BMDV will also be explaining funding opportunities for urban cable cars at the trade fair.
The City Lab is located in the central Mobility Lab special display area with partners Bartholet & Leitner. Here, in-depth content and workshops on implementation-relevant issues are offered in cooperation with several players. The City Lab offers you a highly visible networking opportunity. The Science Wall is also integrated into the Mobility Lab as a presentation opportunity for scientists
