How to get there

You can reach the MESSE ESSEN venue quickly and environmentally friendly by train and make good use of the time until your arrival. Essen Central Station is well connected and a hub for over 120 ICE, InterCity, EuroCity and InterRegio connections in all directions every day. From there you can reach us in just 5 minutes by underground line 11 (station: Messe Ost/Gruga).

 

The dense motorway network in North Rhine-Westphalia also makes travelling by car easy and convenient and you enjoy maximum flexibility on site. You can reach the MESSE ESSEN venue via the main Rhine-Ruhr motorways A52, A3, A40 and A42. The signs to the trade fair centre will guide you straightforwardly to our site, where you will find plenty of parking spaces from which MESSE ESSEN is easily accessible on foot or by trade fair bus.

The fast connection to Düsseldorf Airport also makes it easy to travel to the fair from afar by plane. Düsseldorf Airport is only 20 minutes by car from the Essen exhibition centre and also has excellent rail connections. With over 500 take-offs and landings every day, it offers flight connections to over 170 cities in Germany and abroad. MESSE ESSEN has its own information counter in the centre of the arrivals level of Terminal B. In addition to Düsseldorf Airport, Essen/Mülheim Airport is also a good option. From there, MESSE ESSEN can be reached by car or taxi in 10 minutes.
