After careful consideration and discussions with our partners, we have come to the decision to cancel Cable Car World 2026.
The reason for this decision is that leading manufacturers in the cable car industry have decided not to participate in the trade fair in 2026. As a result, the trade fair will not be able to meet the expectations of trade visitors who wish to gain a comprehensive overview of the urban cable car industry at Cable Car World.

Every two years, Messe Essen (Germany) is the venue for the "Cable Car World - home of new urban mobility" congress fair. As a global meeting point for those interested in urban mobility on the plus-one level with cable cars, the congress and fair are combined to form a unique event. Cable Car World 2024 was under the patronage of the German Federal Minister for Digital and Transport Dr. Volker Wissing.
